Monarch Group

Monarch Group is the Canadian branch of American builder Taylor Morrison and a well-known single-family home and condominium developer. Monarch's residences tailored to the modern family's specific needs and built-in some of Canada's most sought-after locations.

In 2015, Mattamy Homes, Canada's largest private house and townhouse builder, acquired Monarch Group for $335 million.

Mattamy Homes was founded in 1978 by the current CEO Peter Gilgan and is headquartered in Oakville, Ontario. The company has built 70,000 houses in more than 160 communities in the United States and Canada. In addition to the Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa, Calgary, and Edmonton, you can also see Mattamy's constructions in some major cities in the United States, such as Minneapolis, Charlotte, Phoenix, Orlando, and Tampa.
